Founder Promotions

When a founder of a company relinquishes the CEO role, does that mean that he is stepping down?  Fred Wilson has today’s Great VC Post of the day with When The Founder “Steps Up.” In it, he describes Reid Hoffman’s “step up” from CEO to chairman and president of products.  Well worth a read, especially if you are the founding CEO of a venture-backed company.
